    Question about music

What do you do with old albums? Is there any way to put the music on CD's?

Well, if you have a line-in jack on your computer, in theory you could go from auxilary-out on the record player to line-in on the computer. They both should take a mini-jack connector I would think.

You could record them into a .wav, and compress that to an mp3 or your format of choice using iTunes or some other piece of software.

My parents were doing this with some software they bought and a hardware connection along the lines of what Partial describes above. I don't know squat about the details, but I can tell you it's definitely possible.

So much easier to find an album site and get a digital copy of your original. Every copy i've listened to that's gone through the conversion sounds like crap.
