    24 inch LCD

I'm in the market for a 24 inch LCD wide screen to use on my main rig. I know I'm going with a S-IPS panel but am having trouble finding what Displays are using those panels. I know Samsung uses their own in the 245T but most manufacturers are very vague about what panel they use. Any reviews or suggestions are appreciated.

I saw Costco has a 24" LCD on sale for $349. I do not remember what brand though.

The fact that you know what panel you're looking gives you a solid ground.

I would just take a peak through this and see if there is any more information you can learn.

I don't have a monitor recommendation, though, because you know more about it than I do.

Thanks for the linkage...looks like there is some good info in there.

The only 24 costco has had up here so far have been junk....I'll hold out a bit longer and see if anything shows up in the next month before I buy anything.
I get my costco rebate check soon.

Woot.com occasionally has a good deal.

I typically see a 24" montiro "hot deal" here every few day or two.

No Alaska shipping...I have to send it to Portland to my sisters and then have her send it to me. Not worth the hassle.

If I was you look at the Dynex 32" at Best Buy. Its inexpensive...buy an open box when its at $400 and get 20% off. It is a real good HD tv thats for sure.
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.
