Perhaps there is a trend of team mascots getting into fights with each other.
In the first game of the Ducks' football '09 season, the Ducks' mascot got into a fight with the Houston Cougars mascot.
The Oregon AD apologized to the U of Houston and suspended the Ducks mascot for a game.
