First boil the brats in beer (low boil) for 15 minutes. Then throw on the grill on mediumish heat (if gas grill; slightly lower for charcoal) for about 4 minutes per side. Turn twice for a total of 12 minutes on the grill. When they start dripping fat, be sure they don't get charred in the flameups. They should be brown and slightly crispy skin when done.
