Shame they killed it if it's such a rare thing. I am not anti hunting, mind, just anti killing unicorns.

Dr. Kornbluth, you're services are no longer required. Why don't you run along now and find us a uni-corn?

I have a hard time believing this deer came from the wild. I am pretty much fed up with deer farms and outfitters that raise deer to well kill them for a huge fee.

I don't really know the story behind this, but it is rare thing for a beast like this to just be roaming around public hunting ground, or a local farm.

I agree 100%. These type of deer are raised and fed special food just for the purpose of getting paid $10,000 for someone to crack a shot at it. This isn't a deer you see on a Sunday drive on the side of the road taking a piss.

There was a moose that used to wander the midtown area of Anchorage in the winter that had some genetic defect and would never shed it's antlers. They were the strangest looking antlers I've ever seen. I'll try and locate a pic.

I thought that older deer were more likely to get those funky down-turned brow tines but according to the article the deer was 4-5.
