I could be wrong, but I believe it's sort of an akronym. It stands for Asshole/Bastard testing. You see, much like a marketing focus group, they assemble a sampling group of Assholes/Bastards to test the multiple layers of stupidity against the actual usability of the Google front page. Google has put many years of research and millions of dollars into testing to keep the reputation of their front page at google.com at the top of the "even an idiot could use it" category.Is A/B some sort of STD that you are testing for? 1. I do like the new look (buttons, text) from Google in WebKit Browsers. It looks like ass in firefox 3.x.x (whatever I'm running at work on my PC). Time to improve the font for FF on Windows.
2. I'm getting a fade effect today from Google. Lots of A/B testing lately. Anyone else getting this?
