Black Double IPA - XXX
Excellent; and a thing of beauty when poured...almost didn't want to drink it.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.
Anyone going to be in Seattle next weekend and want to share a beer or three? I'll be here on Saturday.

If all those Wilco sandwiches are leaving you a little thirsty, we might have a solution: Lagunitas Brewing Company's new springtime beer, Wilco Tango Foxtrot. According to the Petaluma, California-based brewery, the imperial brown ale is "rich, smooth, dangerous, and chocolatey."

[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.
My friend threw that in the list as a joke....someone will always bring a bottle of swill as a joke. Beer nerds.Originally Posted by swede

lol - I picked off the Bud Light as well. No lime beers though 8-(
Did you try the Left Hand Imperial Stout? Nice. I'm hoping to get my hands on some Great Lakes Blackout.
Oskar Blues makes some great stuff. I was at the Green Frog Cafe when the rep came by - had the Ten Fiddy, Yella Pils, Old Chub and the Gordon Ale (Imperial IPA). All great representatives of the styles. They also 'play' with their recipes, which is great. For instance, they'll do a special release of their Ten-Fidy aged in an oak barrel, or a whisky barrel - they don't stand pat on their recipes.

Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...
On the home brewing front, I'm having one of my Graff's (hopped, malty cider) right now, and I just finished a C-Mag IPA - a Chinook-Magnum hopped IPA that I couldn't be happier with.
Visited my brother and his friends, home of the swill, and had a Keystone Light or two after they plowed through the homebrew I brought. Wow, can I not stomach that stuff anymore.
Another fellow brought choke cherry wine (he picks the cherries right off a tree in his yard!) and it was really good! Sharp, cherry/cranberry, and I'll happily have some again.
