I could go for some beavertails. Never had them, but deep fried pastry covered with cinnamon and sugar is hard to beat.

The Brewers served poutine at Miller Park for a couple seasons. I don't know if they still do or not.

A Canadian franchise featuring poutine (the name escapes me right now) will soon or has already opened their first US franchise near Wrigley field. Supposed to have a whole menu of poutine variations.

Fiddleheads and spring run (river fish) shad or gaspereaux are a standard delicacy in New Brunswick.

I recommend a fine dinner of fiddleheads served with Atlantic Salmon and Dill Sauce with any well prepared potatoe style; garnished with vine ripe tomatoes and English Cukes in vinegar.

For dessert try ** Strawberry Rhubarb pie and French Vanilla ice cream.

I'm not much for fast food chains but I find DQ's fast food about the best in this country.

    Poutine:

I assume most of you can eat at a Dairy Queen. Up here DQ is now serving a very decent poutine. I recommend it.

    BeaverTails

" BeaverTails and Queues de Castor are a Canadian-based chain of pastry stands operated by BeaverTails Canada Inc. The chain's namesake product is a line of fried dough pastries, individually hand stretched to resemble a beaver’s tail."

" The Indians originally made these, but they were called pigs' ears. Over the years I have perfected the recipe to the point where I and my friends no longer go out to get them. I just make 'em at home! Enjoy, EH!" ... "
