It must be an absolute joy to coach a guy like that. Jarrett Bush, too. Not that there aren't others, as well.

Kind of a mixed bag as well, no? Because the limited guys sometimes have to do things they don't do well. I would say Hawk and Bush were a joy 6 days a week but occasionally on the 7th they caused some indigestion with the coach.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Nah. Coaches know what a player can do, and what he can't do. A player not doing something that you never thought he could do anyway causes no indigestion. What causes indigestion is a player not doing something that you know he can do, or a player "forgetting" what he has been taught to do. From all that I have heard, that is never a problem with Hawk.

So Hawk is a coach's player.

That's a very fair point. Potentially explains the disconnect between fan and coach reactions to player performance on the field.

That and fans, generally, function at the emotional level of a two year old, myself included.

McCarthy says House feels better, has range of motion. Seeing specialist today for more tests. Does not sound season-ending, but unclear.

This Sundays 1 PM EST Game will be Green Bay's first game against the Bills in eight years at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The Packers have never won at Ralph Wilson Stadium in five tries.

    The betting public:

55% are saying the Packers will cover [- 4.5 ] and 61% are betting that the score will be 'under' 50.5 Pts.

    GO PACK !

The Packer offense typically goes into a complete funk whenever they play a defense like this...so my hopes are not all that high. I don't think we get more than 24 points in this one. Our defense is going to have to create some turnovers.

I predict a loss here for the Pack. A place they've never won, against the kind of defense that stymies that Packer offense. And Kyle Orton at the helm. Just enough to make this a tough loss, like 27-20.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers throws an interception or two. I just hope he survives this game in one piece. I know the OL has been good in protection lately, but Rodgers also has been holding on to the ball. LAUNCH IT OUT OF BOUNDS, AROD!!!!!
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

The great @MikeGarafolo reports that #Packers have IR'd ILB Jamari Lattimore (ankle) and promoted S @Chris1Banjo from practice squad.

    The More Banjo thread rejoices.

Last week was a game we should have won 'pretty'... but dunderdummy made it an ugly win.

This week?? I expect an ugly game... a frustrating game to watch. The Bills are anemic on offense, so even our inconsistent defense should be able to hold them down; but their defense is very good. Expect a lot of punts, field position type of game.

Don't care if we win this one ugly - get a "W" and get out of Buffalo.

The Packer offense is much better now than when they were shut down earlier in season.

I'm not worried about this game.
