That's what I was screaming at the TV. Run it up to 500+ yards I said. Coaches really have zero appreciation for records and history. They're typically so bound up, I bet they all need a full bottle of Metamucil on Mondays to get the pipes flowing again.

RGIII's benching highlights failures of 2012 draft class

" Griffin's spectacular fall from grace highlights the futility of the top of the 2012 NFL Draft.

The 2013 group isn't faring much better than its 2012 counterparts. Of the top dozen 2013 draft picks, Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah (No. 5) is the lone player flashing star potential."

I would like to see the Packers add a T, DL, MLB, WR, and TE in the draft. As usual, I want the DL as early as possible.

If you can convince Clay to stay inside, I'd put OLB at the top of the list. By 2016 we will no longer have Peppers or Perry and may lose Neal as well…. I don't think we want to throw a rookie out there with no depth….

How about Shaq Thompson to play inside? SOB plays linebacker and running back. Causes turnovers, big hits. Appears to be an outstanding athlete that seems to find the ball.

This fella is intriguing...a fine athlete. He might fit at Safety as well?

Well, we have to seriously look at mlb's

Hawk and jones look like their time in green bay is over

Peppers doesn't have a lot left, and i seriously doubt we pay his large contract next season, so clay migt have to move back to olb

Barrington has been, ok, but not great

We need to find 2 starting ILBs in the draft and free agency imo, if we are gonna keep playing the 3-4

However if we switch to a 4-3 (god willing capers is gone), then we might only neec to find 1 mlb

Great player who will probably be drafted before the Packers pick. Especially because he'll probably have a great combine. Great overall athlete.

I'd say Hawk may retire from NFL.
Jones has played well last couple games, good chance he'll stick as role player if he'll renegotiate

Agree on both. Hawk looks done, although he's not all that old. Jones has played well in dime, but 3.75 million is too much for a guy in for 10 plays a game. I see no reason to think they won't continue to use Matthews at both ILB/OLB. I think moving him around has made him a better player. I also wouldn't give up on Bradford at ILB. He has a great motor. They just need to figure out if he has any instincts at ILB.

By needs, of course it's one if not two ILB's, a playmaking TE (I see Rodgers as solid but no more), an OT, an OLB, mebbe two, and another defensive lineman if they think Kyrie Thornton is a washout.

Draft truism: The better the Pack does in the playoffs, the worse they do on draft day. This draft is deep in RB's but shallow in GB's areas of needs. I see no standout prospects at ILB or TE. Slam dunk OT's and DL prospects will be gone by time Pack drafts.

If Gurley or Gordon were still on the board when TT picks, would he pull the trigger?
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.
