See, I actually like getting Seattle early. Given the epic collapse, if/when they thump them in Lambeau it will exorcise some past demons and allow for early mojo.

I thought the NFL had a rule requiring a home game before a Thursday game. Perhaps the NFL considers the game at Min a home game for the Packers.

I think it is that the team that travels on Thursday will have been home the previous Sunday.

Not enough home games in November and December. Puts a big emphasis on starting out hot. If they start slow again this year like they usually do it will be hard to make it up later on.
