Told player we would sign him for $500 bonus. He said "I only have about $100 now but can get you rest in a week.” I said “No, we pay you.”

Packers have no depth at Safety, so Brice has a real opportunity.

He could euthanize opponent's pass game.

I was hoping for a metamorphosis into a round one type player.

I should just turn that off. Gonna keep happening too. Auto correct will fire when you click Post Reply.

    The List
    Manoa Pikula, BYU, LB
    Makinton Dorleant, UNI, DB
    Kentrell Brice, LaTech, S
    Joe Callahan, Wesley, QB
    Beniquez Brown, MissSt, ILB
    Josh Hawkins, East Carolina, CB
    Brandon Burks, Troy, RB
    Don Jackson, Nevada, RB

Packers have filled 8 of 21 open spots if they want to fill the roster today.

Spell check has now learned that Dorleant is acceptable. Can't wait for it to turn up in an email.

    http://www.draftinsider.net/reports/...Beniquez-Brown

    Beniquez Brown
    School: Mississippi State
    Position: ILB

Positive: Two-year starter who finished with a career-best 99 tackles last season while also blocking two kicks. Underrated run defending linebacker with starting potential at the next level. Remains disciplined with assignments, chases the action hard and wraps up tackling. Breaks down well, uses his hands to protect himself and relatively instinctive. Fires up the field filling gaps, displays speed in pursuit and the ability to get outside the numbers. Flows well to the action laterally, displays a closing burst and nicely redirects to the play. Remains disciplined with cover assignments.

Negative: Inefficient and often times over pursues the action. Easily knocked off balance by the first block. Average skill in coverage.

Analysis: Brown is a terrific two down defender that can also stay on the field in certain zone packages and is one of the more underrated linebackers in this draft.
