Are you joking? Once Atlanta runs a first and goal play he lets the clock run. They have two more plays maximum to score(unless they go for it on 4th of a penalty). You commit that you will call your TOs on 2nd and 3rd down if they don't score. Either they score or they don't. But it leaves the max amount of time on the clock for the offense, that is cruising. Not sure if you noticed, but we were on the 8 yd line with 4 seconds left.

Yup, we won the toss and deferred.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

If MM had called TO's when some of you wanted, you'd be cryin' like Camp fire Girls.

If he calls both his timeouts while on defense and Atlanta scored you'd be here bitching how he didn't have any timeouts for the offense and didn't give them a chance. MM had made bad decisions before but this one wasn't it

Not sure that was a great idea to draw ATL offsides and use a timeout.

"Trying to get them with a hard count" is not a play call!

Not sure what would have happened KY. When you have the ball you can stop the clock a couple different ways without timeouts but you can't put time back on the clock. On the other hand, it also changes the type of plays you have to call and kind of takes away the middle of field stuff if you don't have any timeouts so hard to say how it would have played out.

Classic burning a TO 3 mins into the 3rd quarter of a close game. I just dont get it.

Teams around the league are getting wise to Rodgers' hard count schtick.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Maybe try twice then run the play.

TO was on Rodgers. Wanted 5 easy yards.

Or the one who scores more points. We'll see.

need the 1st down. mm...get the 1st down.

Damn It! We needed to capitalize on getting the ball to start the 3rd. FG would have nice, at the least. Double Damn it!!!

Timeouts are less valueable than 45 seconds of time. I said he should have used them before Atlanta scored. Look back. It's simple logic
