Official Kitrick Taylor 25th Anniversary Thread

25 years ago today the great Kitrick Taylor caught a TD pass from some kid named Brett Favre in the closing moments as the Packers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 24-23. It was Mike Holmdren's first win.

Jim and Max with the call.

If Ron Wolf thought it important for Brett Favre to have targets of any caliber (Sanjay Beach!) before he lucked into both Brooks and Freeman with late picks, he would have signed Kitrick Taylor long term and the Packers would have had at least ONE more Super Bowl win under Favre.

Favre then probably retires without complaint after the 2007 Super Bowl win, mad possible by GM Mike Holmgren's key acquisition of Logan Mankins to play Guard for the Packers in the 2005 draft.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

There is (was?) a typical northern Wisconsin supper club in Crivitz - Shaffer Supper Club as my diminished memory brain cells tell me. Damn fine fried chicken dinner with spectacularly plain sides and hot fresh bread. Kinda a blur anymore, but awesome yard bird.

I never really cared for the Yardbirds.

The Supper Club was destroyed by fire in 2014.
