He’s literally a carbon copy of Preston. Preston jumped a little better and Van Ness ran a little faster. But same style of player with almost same testing. Same arm length.

Will be good to learn from a guy with such similar skillset.

I know nothing of him other than what I watched on YT.

    But, he looked really good.

Never upset when you take quality players in the trenches. Need more of that.

    Wonder what Kaaron is thinking?

He's 6-5, 272. That's as big as Z was when he would line up inside.

    They were talking about Harrell.

Pick is good and makes sure the defense doesn’t get bullied.

And given Gary's injury, they need a new Gary.
Fire Murphy, Gute, MLF, Barry, Senavich, etc!

Chris Mortensen and Lee Corso need to find a buffet at 3pm a stay there.

Gary 1/2” shorter and 5 lbs heavier. So Gary slightly more stout
Gary slightly longer arms but both have long arms
    Same 40 time
    Van Ness better agility numbers
    Gary better jumps and bench

In some ways he’s a better athlete than Gary and others not quite there. They’re about equal overall, with slightly different strengths as athletes. But definitely a high upside, elite athlete here.

Can’t help but think a first/second round wide receiver is needed to provide an offensive weapon for the untested quarterback.
