I have no idea how anyone can talk about anything besides

This was a historic win with a one-legged QB in an unbelievably tough environement that did just enough against a great defense - thanks to the great field position the defense gave them all day long in a dominating performance. Unbelievable effort by everyone on the team to give the Packers another historic win and Super Bowl run....

pulled out from underneath it after it accomplished it - by a no name third string TE from Arkansas A&M or somewhere. Just do what you've practiced - don't even go after that ball because your responsibility is to protect Jordy who's the designated high onside jump-catcher behind the line of guys who are to protect him.

Man - biggest choke ever by a guy who will go down in infamy way ahead of T.J. Rubley and every choke story in the history of football. The Super Fucking Bowl pulled out from underneath an incredible win on the road against the defending champs. Feels like a dream.

Ya know what I wanted to see? One goddamm fucking play run at Sherman while he's holding a useless arm against his shirt. Fuck, even Kirk kicked the shit out of Khan after he had to tuck his useless hand in his belt.

Run to Sherman's side and just make him try one tackle. Throw over there and make him jam with one hand only. Anything. Geezus that was intolerable. INTOLERABLE!

I am having trouble counting the number of ways the team could have won this. Its exactly like the Eagles loss. But worse.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I've been saying all year that Stubby has to give up play calling to keep his head in the game, or hire a special coach to manage games like this. Will it ever happen? I doubt it. Stubby earned his nickname.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Packers' D played well for 56 minutes, then gave up 206 yards and 3 touchdowns on Seattle's last 3 drives.

Yes that's how it's coached. Jordy is that guy. That's how I played it my whole football career (I was the Jordy in high school and DIII college football. All you gotta do is protect Jordy from getting hit so he can catch it clean and get down. It's always the guy right behind the front line. He freaked at the moment and somehow forgot how the play is run or had doubt about what he was doing (why I don't know) if Jordy was going to be there. He was.

Slocum was livid with Bostick as he walked off the field because he didn't do what Slocum coached him to do. I'd bet my life on that.

The Packers are getting criticized for shutting down their offense with a 19-7 lead and under 5 minutes to play after Burnett's interception. I think 31 other teams would do exactly what MM did and call 3 running plays to force Seattle to burn TOs. Everybody is quick to say that special teams cost us this win, and they certainly contributed.

Remember, in the last 3 minutes of the game and in the first 3 minutes of overtime, our defense gave up 22 points. Our offense had the ball for about a minute and scored 3 points. Our defense EPICALLY failed. I don't believe this is on the defensive coordinator. I believe the players failed. They, and I don't use this word easily, completely choked. MM didn't lose the game. Capers didn't lose the game. Special teams certainly contributed, but the defense lost this game after playing lights out for 57 minutes. The players choked this game away.

I'll give you an honest answer. I love the Packers, always have and always will. But I have NEVER been a stubby fan, I really think he is an over rated coach. I also don't care for Slocum or Capers. But keeping them around is just another example of how inadequate stubby is. Many fans don't remember the years of shitty to mediocre QB's. The Packers have had a superstar QB for the last 20+ years. You HAVE to take an advantage of that, because it won't last forever. But the powers that be in GB seem happy to say well shucks we almost made it, maybe next year.

I'm not morbid enough to start a poll on this one.

    @Paulimig
#Packers up by 12 with 3:54 left, Seahawks ball at their own 31-yard line, the win probability calculator had Packers chances to win at 99%.

That's a nice kick in the nuts.

The Packers had it and simply gave it away.

The Packers had what wasn't supposed to be theirs. A win in Seattle and a berth in the Super Bowl.

Most of us had to feel a win in that game but in the second half the Packers offense simply dropped out.

This will be an ugly defeat to easily overcome. It's simply embarrassing when the team has it that close to victory.

A terrible loss that will feel worse tomorrow....worse the next day after the shock is over.

Stubby, Capers, did just about everything you could expect against that team at home. They pulled off an incredible upset getting that team ready and did everything necessary to take this team to the Super Bowl in an unbelievably tough place to win.
