Not a disappointment, but something to watch out for. My impression is that Masthay was more inconsistent than in the past. I'm not worried, but I will be paying attention to his early season performances.
That's funny, I noticed it too. He's a vet though, I chalk it up to trying something different, or fine tuning a wrinkle. When the bright lights are on he'll go with what he knows works.Originally Posted by Patler

He looked OK early, then fell apart late.
Just hasn't improved in any one area of his pass rush. Still solid against run but was hoping for a something new to counter his bull rush.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
