Datone Jones will practice in full Wednesday.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The #Packers have cut Derek Sherrod, per the transaction wire

Sherrod was a first-round pick in 2011. The #Packers re-signed RB Rajion Neal and LB Joe Thomas to the practice squad. Cut DL Joe Kruger and TE Ike Ariguzo
Wait a sec...I thought Joe Thomas was on IR. No? Was he just hanging out in the streets somewhere?

And this is precisely why I will start the GB defense in fantasy this week. Time to roll the dice baby!

There's one very important question for Sunday night's game, that trumps all questions.

Who is going to start the game day thread?

No one is going out on a limb and predicting he will make it through the entire practice unscathed.

    Anybody but Red.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Can't be Red. He had a losing GameDay thread last week.

Saw Lang and Sitton did not practice today. Lang - we know about the ankle, Sitton - I heard it was his foot. I hope this one of MM's "We're just being smart" with Sitton. We can't lose anymore O-lineman.

    Big Toe:
Packers guard Josh Sitton said that he has torn a ligament on the bottom of his big toe and will meet with team physicial Patrick McKenzie Thursday to evaluate his condition.

Sitton said he tried an orthodic Wednesday to help alleviate the pain in the toe and may try to practice Thursday. But he said he needed to talk with McKenzie to see what the risk factors were as he decides whether to pursue playing this week.

"What risk I have of re-injurying it and what not," Sitton said. "We were going to see how it was feeling and he'll look at the foot and see where I'm at and he'll be able to determine the risk." | Nov. 5, 2014 2:58 p.m.
Specialist said any position other than a lineman - they probably would have to operate.

Maybe he just doesn't have a steady hand?

So the Packers could possibly end up with Tretter and Lane Taylor at Guard? So that means Garth Gerhart is the backup at C/G, and I guess Tretter would move to T if Bakh or Bulaga went down. I imagine Jerry Vujnovich would probably be activated off the PS. Or maybe they'd sign Tauscher. What the hell did Sherrod do to get cut right now? Hit on Olivia Munn?

Can you play guard or tackle?

    I'm with ya, Joe.

We are razor thin in the OLine and we cut one of 'em.

    This is nuts.

Maybe the Packers think their practice squad guy is better. I thought Sherrod was pretty terrible, but opinions vary.

I don't see any sign of a team bringing him in for tryout. He's rested and ready if needed.
