I'm wondering though if the defense is scheming to take away the slants because they're not worried about the Packers going deep.

Bad all around after half time.
Pretty bad before half time too considering we had two turnovers and a couple huge runs by Jones. We stunk it up today.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

If that's the case maybe run play action on first down!
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

By the end of the year, Hundley might be an average starting QB if the OL can let him work his progressions. I'm not convinced that will happen with the walking wounded that we have out there.

That’s was a pretty shitty attempt at an offense mike put on the field today

I really believe a lot of good, young QBs are ruined by poor OL play. A 5th round project needs good protection or he'll play his way out of the league.

Yup. I thought they were on to something with the running in the 1st quarter, but then they reverted to their Arod offense except without Arod. Doesn't really matter though cause the defense sucks big ones.

We have to rely on the running game to take the air out of the ball and take away possessions from the opposing team. This will be a VERY different offense from the one that Rodgers ran.

We won't face many offenses as good as the Saints offense. Our D will look better in some games. We just can't win games against high-powered offenses.

More like the Packers in '86 with Randy Wright at QB.

Stubby isn't going to be this conservative with Rodgers out there and defenses aren't gonna load up the box and dare our QB to beat them with the pass.

We forget when Rodgers had his first extended playing time he didn't look any better.
