Halftime at Lambeau Field: #Ravens 6, #Packers 0. Brett Hundley's passer rating is 39.3 so far.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

    Can't believe it's that high.

If you take into account his holding onto the ball and taking sacks, etc., he's actually playing worse than the rating indicates. I'm serious...put Callahan in the game just to see if it lights a small fire under their asses. That half was as abysmal of an offensive showing as you can have.

True. But you live with that with a young starter. I think Rand is right that M3 has to dial it back.

His YPA is over 7.1 so he is throwing it downfield, but sacks and 2 INTs would make that adjusted number terrible.

Have to keep doing what he was doing well.

    Which is... ...?
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Throwing some decent medium to deep completions.

Actually the moron is the guy who didn't send out the punt team as PB alluded to.

He basically got most of that on one underthrown terrible pass that the receiver made a good adjustment on. This isn't the 85 Bears D that they're playing against. The thing that bothers me is that he's been practicing with the No. 1 offense/receivers for several weeks now and they still don't have any chemistry. I really had hopes for him but I think it's become painfully obvious that Hundley just doesn't have, "it" and he most likely never will. This isn't his 1st rodeo. This is his 3rd year in the league.

I am not arguing he is playing great. I am just saying some of this has been OK. His two longer completions to Nelson and Adams were them adjusting to his throws. If that isn't QB/WR chemistry, I don't know what to tell you. He also had a completion running the Rodgers extended route offense.

Its the pocket stuff that cannot continue.

And as I write that, he makes his best pocket throw of the day while under pressure to Adams.

You're giving him more credit than he deserves. He is a run of the mill, average backup QB. We hoped for more and got less.

Who expected that from a 5th round pick?

Hundley the way he is playing right now is NOT a run of the mill average backup QB. He's worse.

Right. Because MM coaches him to take a sack on 4th down.

What I find maddening with him is when the pressure comes he steps BACK instead of forward. He then takes a huge sack. Egods.
