Another semi-promising QB career cut semi-tragically short.

I'm told QB Brock Osweiler has agreed to a deal in principle with the Houston #Texans.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

That happens, Denver is screwed. Add in that would mean Trevathan would be much less likely to stick around there during a new QB growing pains. Could be good for GB.
All hail the Ruler of the Meadow!

Well, Elway got Manning his ring before retirement by playing the FA game.

Looks like the cap may shutter that Denver dynasty...

A deal with Forte must have been a bridge too far for the cap. I'm OK with them waiting for the right deal in free agency, and not paying frenzy money. They may bring Starks back or look for some other change of pace back. They are going to keep their salary cap clean. I think he takes pride in not having a lot of (any?) dead money.

I also heard he was a little miffed about manning being handed the starting job just because he was Peyton Manning. I sort of agree with him on that, but it is the way of the NFL.

The only reason I wanted Forte in GB was because I really like his pass catching ability. I think this is important as I think TT will do little to help TE and WR positions.

Perhaps, but I hope he remembers what Bill O'Brien did this year with his rotating QBs and the benching of injured Ryan Mallet.

Bears are signing former Broncos LB Danny Trevathan, per source.

    Where is Raji?
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

The Jets are a pretty good team, especially if they bring back Fitzpatrick.

With Osweiler going to Houston, the Broncos have Trevor Siemian, a rookie 7th round pick from Northwestern at QB. That's it. I wonder what they'd give up for Hundley.

$52.5M guaranteed, $22.5 over 5 years NOT guaranteed?
Have they lost the concept of incentive/motivation?
