Just listened to the Jan 5th press conference again. Rumor is, McCarthy said Spitz is likely to be back. I didn't remember hearing it so I went back and listened.

He said the training staff and Spitz all believe he'll be ready to go. This is a good thing with Kerney playing on that side. If they deside to get clever with overload blitzes and stunts, it will be nice to have Wells, Spitz and Tauscher all working together over there.

I think he was supposed to practice today (monday) so I think we'll probably get more info tomorrow in MM's Tuesday press conference on how it went.

Ok, I'm gonna print that picture and put it in a folder to pull out on blue days, cause I cannot look at that without laughing.

I've seen him on the sidelines since then; he looks like a regular human being now.

This is good news because our line is looking pretty hobbled. It is going to be a battle between Tauscher and Kerney and it will be good to have an assignment sure guard next to him.

I think having Franks back is the real key....he is great helping out in protection and run blocking.

I sure hope M3 is optomistic about Tausher being near 100%. We need the best on the o-line against the Seahawks.
