I think we're supposed to hate the Giants now. The Cowboys are yesterday's news.

I'll hate the Giants on Sunday.

I hate the Cowboys 365 days a year...just like I hate the Bears, Vikings and Lions 365 days a year.

In perhaps worse taste yet, here's a (well-done) rip on Romo.

Nothing like beating 'em when they're down, but hey, they're the Cowboys!

Ever wonder if these guys check out this stuff about them that is all over the net?

The Cowboys really choked away that game. Sure, the WR's dropped balls. That hurt. The pass rush got to Romo and that hurt. I didn't get to break it down or see if there was underneith stuff available but they kept looking for long developing deep passes and the time just wasn't there or the coverage was. It was a pretty awfull performance (esspecially in the redzone).

There is a lot of blame to go around in every which direction, but the two things that really struck me as unforgivably bad was

1. Jerry Jones coming out of his luxury box. Come on, you write these guys' checks. This is a huge moment, they all care about this game more than you know. You don't need to come down and put uneeded pressure on your guys. Any preparation to help in this game was already done. In the moment of battle nobody needs to be reminded to try. They need to be relaxed, and quite frankly supported, maybe a little reminder to stick with their techinique or stay with the basics but they don't need their owner on the sidelines looking panicked and angry. That does not help anyone.

2. Tony Romo absolutly lost it. In the 4th quarter I started a post saying "whoa, Romo seems really anxious and nervous. I could see him forcing a pick". I deleted the post because I thought maybe it was presumptuous but Romo proceeded to scream at Refs, show extreme impatiants with everything that was going on and the game wasn't even close to over. His blow up was one of the big exexcusable parts of that game. Maybe he freaked out when Jones came down, who knows but he lost his composure and the QB cannot do that.

The WR's dropping passes, the Olineman getting beat by probolwers and the defense giving up a few points to a good offense happen. That's football. Jones not knowing his place and Romo's panic were not just part of the game. That is something you have to look honestly in the mirror and recognize or it won't go away with practice.

I just can't enjoy any of these. As much as I'm anti-Cowboys, I have to say I don't really like the pro-Giants take of all of these. I'm anti-Giants, I want them to lose all of their games for the rest of the season.

Shots of those Giant WR's workin' give me pause.

That Smith kid is a real bitch. 6'5 and a tough guy. He can get the ball and doesn't back off.

Brett & the boys will work the Giant secondary, but Eli's crew can be trouble for our D.

This might be a tight, close game

Every team has WR's that can make catches when they get open. And those receivers were open. We have Charles Woodson and Al Harris. If those G-men receivers get open, they better take advantage of it because it ain't gonna happen too often and Manning's gonna have to throw while wearing numbers 74 and 77. It will be interesting to watch, but I'm not scared of anyone anymore. (Remember how Kerney was supposed to be more than we could handle last week too?)
