Numbers to note for both teams, individuals on Packers and Giants
GREEN BAY PACKERS (14-3)
-- Green Bay has won 18 of his last 21 games, including 10 of its last 11 at home.
-- In NFC Championship Game history, home teams are 50-24 (.676).
-- No team has won more NFC Championships (including NFL Championship Games, 1933-69) than the Packers, who have emerged victorious 10 times in 13 appearances.

-- Head coach Mike McCarthy is the first Packers coach since Vince Lombardi to lead his team to a championship game in his second season. In 1960, Green Bay lost 17-13 to Philadelphia in the NFL Championship.
-- Green Bay has chosen Bart Starr to serve as honorary captain for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game. Starr won five NFL titles and was MVP of the first two Super Bowls in his career with the Packers (1956-71).
-- Mississippi native Brett Favre is 43-5 at home, including the playoffs, when the temperature is 34 degrees or below.
-- Favre will start his 22nd playoff game on Sunday, his 275th consecutive start overall. He is 12-9 (.571) in the postseason, including 2-1 in NFC title games.
-- In three career NFC Championship Games, Favre has completed 56-of-95 passes for 821 yards and six touchdowns against just three interceptions.
-- Favre has thrown a touchdown pass in an NFL record 17 straight postseason games. He had a post-season career high passer rating of 137.6 last Saturday in Green Bay’s 42-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

-- The Giants have won nine straight games, including the playoffs, on the road. It is the longest single-season streak in team history.
-- Four Giants players have championship game experience. Michael Strahan and Amani Toomer both helped the Giants defeat Minnesota in the 2000 NFC Championship Game. Plaxico Burress played in the 2001 and 2004 AFC Championship Games against New England. Backup offensive lineman Grey Ruegamer played in the 2001 game for the Patriots.
-- Head coach Tom Coughlin has guided the Giants to the postseason for the third straight year.
-- 18: The difference between the Giants' lowest total yards output of any game this season (212) and what they managed to generate last week in Dallas (230), their second-lowest playoff game total in team history.
