But where was the team that played last week? :(
They forgot how to run the ball. That was the difference.

Fantastic season, boys. If this is what you do in M3's second year, I can't wait for the third.

Giants said they wanted to stop the run and they did...plus McCarthy believed them and put all on a wild Favre.

Youngest team in the NFL makes it to the NFC Championship?
It hurts right now - but there are lots of bright days ahead.

NFL is an elevator; teams are up one year and down the next. We have aging corners; address that and we could contend again.

i agree, Shadow. Instead of having so many holes to fill in the off-season, we can focus on certain positions. This team is going to be good for many years to come.

To be honest - at the end of this game, I thought they could not play with the Pats - the Giants showed our weaknesses - so better to lose now than have the "Superbowl" loser curse.

WE need help at the OL too. It can be done.

Ted Thompson has put the roster in position to challenge for the next few years, and I fully expect him to continue adding young quality players.

I can't thank the pack right now... maybe tomorrow, maybe next week... I am pretty speechless about this loss... No one showed up today...

We all understand you're hurting, think how the players feel, the people who actually lost after spending 4 hours in -25 degrees, or the fans like some here who traveled and watched them lose in overtime. It's tough for everyone, but to say no one showed up, come on, you know you don't feel that way, many of our players showed up, it was Plexico Burress having a huge heart, and huge hands, and eli manning just never saying die, we had momentum a few times, but eli never made the stupid pass. no turnovers. impressive. Great year. At least we dont have to worry about losing the superbowl to the greatest team ever assembled. the giants have that problem now.

At least they didn't meet expectations in only 4 weeks all season. Cuz they only lost 4 times in 18 games. I'd say they exceeded EVERYONE'S expectations pretty much the whole year. Do we have to dig up the preseason threads to remind us of our expectations last spring?

Yeah, thanks for sucking major wiener in the most important game you guys have ever played. (Wth the exception of Favre, he's played in bigger games.)

Only one team won't have the feeling we have right now, the Super Bowl champion.
Am I pissed the Packers lost, definitely, especially with all the chances they had to get the ball back late in regulation and getting first possession in OT.
Thank you Green Bay for a memorable season. Never would've thought it'd happen quite like this, but I never thought we'd make the NFC title game either.

Yes, I am very thankful and grateful to the Packers for a great year.
Most fans would consider a 13-3 regular season a great year. Most NFL teams would consider it a great achievement to make it to a Conference Title Game--there were 28 other NFL teams who watched today's games from their private homes. The Packers were just one of four teams who actually earned the right to play today.
The Packers are still winners in my book!
