SuperBowl losers rarely do well the next year and with the cloud of retirements, scandals and age in general, this team's era has now ended. The pats may be back but it won't be for a few years at the earliest.

of course those bastards do get San Fran's draft pick. What is that - #2?

will be interesting. The Pats have been masters of staying on top these past years. This year will be tougher than others...many players are near the end of their careers. Will any of the starting LB's be back? But I wouldn't count them out.

I hope they completely fall apart and that asswipe Randy Moss never gets a Super Bowl ring and he stays a turd on a turd team. Belichick showed his true colors pulling a randy moss tonight walking off the field while his team had to stay on the field for the final 1 second of humiliation to run by on the game clock. Surprised the asswipe even shook Coflins hand.

I wouldn't count them out but their best days are behind them. This is a devastating loss that will suck the life out of them for some time.

They gagged it up on the biggest stage on the verge of perfection. It's the end of an era. A tainted era.

New England gets the 7th overall selection. I bet they try to trade with the Cowboys to get their two first round picks.

There loss reminds me of the Packers 1997 super bowl loss. The team was old on defense and the offense had some free agents.

I AGREE nUTZ AND I ALSO AGREE THAT THEY WILL BE LOOKING TO TRADE DOWN. My bet is that BB will be gone before next year.

If Belicheck goes what will he do? He doens't have the personality of a TV guy.

I think he comes back for 2008 unless he gets in some trouble with those rumored tapes but he lost, he needs to man up. the interview was priceless, he made me uncomfortable. The guy doing the interview sort of sucked asked stupid questions.

"My bet is that BB will be gone before next year"

That would make me a happy camper.

Not to have to see him in his stupid hoodies...............

We were saying all through the game that he jinxed them with the new hoodie...Wonder who he compromised with to have to wear it.

It reminded me of the feelings I had after the 97 Packers lost. I think the 97 Packers were a little cocky and thought the SB win was theirs before they even walked on the field, same with the 08 Pats.

That's an understatement. He doesn't have the personality to be a mortician.

Maybe he just continues to talk 5 hours a day to married women on the phone , he can even extend it to lets say 4 women and 18 hours.

That will not kill the time, but also some money

He paid out some big time $$ when he got divorced.......even lost his house on Nantucket (I know his former neighbor).

Yeah...BB doesn't have as much coin as you think. The guy cheated on his wife and got taken to the cleaners. That is why he won't be retiring any time soon.

Well if the NFL has any stones he will be unemployed for a long time. Should the article in the Boston Globe be correct and Spygate II is about to erupt he will be suspended! I also hope they take that #7 draft pick and some salary dough from teh Cheatroits!

Regardless of who stays and who goes, that gigantic sour taste in their mouth isn't going away until they get back to the SB, ha ha ha.
