Who do they front their page with.......
The name/photo of Favre sells.
Slow news day, so who is drumming up the retirement talk........not Favre.

Are you kidding us. What do they sell? It isn't a paper.
Not only that, but you lose your own argument because it isn't the front page...the front page clearly shows 4 subjects..none of which are Favre. Your page is the NFL..which clearly isn't even the dominant subject of the day...Clemens, Nascar, pitchers and catchers, and the Jason kidd trade.
If you actually believe that web traffic is spiking because of this you are crazy.

I don't believe that web traffic is spiking, (altho, I do admit to being slightly crazy).....my point is that all medias use Favre alot. And, when I click on Foxsports, NFL.......there he is, all green and gold.......that's pretty front page to me.

You are crazy. Most sportsfans aren't thinking football. I know i'm not. It is baseball season, college hoops, nba, etc.
That is a sub page...and it is the offseason. Before the draft, too soon to start a discussion. What else are they gonna talk about than who might retire.
Your point was it sells...how?

Hey, take it easy, you knew damn well what she was trying to say, I knew it without thinking twice. To some of us, there ain't no baseball season, college hoops, nba, etc....it's all about FOOTBALL - AND, this is a Packer's football Forum which means it's all about them IMHO....

This is a great comprehensive article, PIP, with a lot of detail.
The current Poll for 2008 NFCN winner ran like this:
Vikes 20%
Bears 11%
Lions 6%
Packers 63% Total: 13,134
Thanks for sharing !! :five:

Please. If you were doing a comprehensive examination of the nfc north and you were predicting the packers to take the division..who would you pick?
Nine times outta ten it is the QB.
I'll go out on a limb and bet that most every one will have a qb..unless there is a star of the magnitude of LT or AD or the team.
