Question re: recorded political messages.

I received 4 recorded political ads via telephone yesterday, all from the Clinton campaign. None from anyone else, surprisingly.

My question is this, does ANYONE really listen to a recorded phone call like that? I hang up immediately, regardless of who it is on behalf of.

I'm getting them from Hillary and from McCain. I don't really listen to any of them. I think they are targeting people who they think are their supporters, and are just reminding you to vote. Not sure they expect you to listen to the whole message.

I have signed up for federal and state "Do Not Call" lists, and still receive quite a few. Most charities are also exempted from the registry, as is any business that can claim you as a "customer."
