Not to be a ND "homer" but John Carlson is the type of TE McCarthy really likes.

He has great closing and reaction speed and seems to read plays well. I wonder how he plays as far as press man coverage?

Plus there's approximately no chance we get McKelvin, he'll go in the top 10 almost certainly. If he's there at 30, absolutely, but he won't be.
