Champagne is a beverage used to celebrate happy things, like me getting a job today. You use it to toast with your friends, like the people who helped you along the way like Mad and Tar (what the HELL did you say?), 007 PIPL, OPF. iiSalud!! (I may be expected to speak some bad Spanish on this gig) Thanks for what you've done, it'll be real champagne in Green Bay this year.

You also raise a glass to those who don't even know you but were rooting for you anyway. It's what makes this place special. iiGracias!!

One should always have a good bottle of Champagne or three on hand to celebrate. Congrats on the job.

Congrats Zig!

Don't have any champagne on me right now. Popped some of the bubbly last night as my running buddy FINALLY landed a job over in Baltimore.

Here's to your success (and the 10K mark too)

So do you miss being unemployed yet?

Congratulations, Zig! Very happy to hear you found something, or more accurately, a place discovered you. It wasn't the NRA gig, was it?

I was unemployed for about 3 weeks in the past 18 years; but I miss being unemployed

No, thanks for the suggestion, but for some reason they haven't called. Damn that Charlton Heston!!

And B, 3 weeks of unemployment is lovely, but after 9 years it was getting very old.

Tyrone has quaffed an excellent sparkler in your honor. Tyrone will not call california wines champagne as tyrone vehemently agrees with the French and EU law, if it isn't made in the Champagne region, it can't, or shouldn't, be called by that name.

Tyrone maybe a crackhead, but he is a stickler for the rules.

Tyrone has only been employed 3 weeks in 18 years. Tyrone misses employment. But, not enough to stop sucking off the gov't teat. Or from sponging off women with low self-esteem. 8-)

They probably couldn't pry your resume from his cold dead hands. Oh well ... their loss. You're workin for someone else now.

how was work, Ziggy? Get any grease burns?

My own resume is somewhat checkered. The trick is to be unemployed during summer months. I always work really hard at jobs, long hours, a soul needs a little recharging.

Scott Campbell
02-25-2008, 07:07 PM
Well?

I don't know about the rest of you, but today has a strange similarity to sending your kid back to school after summer vacation. I'd like some details Zig.

The job is fine, still working out some issues with IT (can't access the documents I need) and everyone seems nice, but the commute may kill me...
