After free agency teams are awarded draft picks based on who they lost and kept from the previous year.

Green Bay lost David Martin
Green Bay lost Ahman Green

Green Bay signed Frank Walker

What additional draft picks, if any, do you think we will get ?????????????

Martin signed for more than Walker, started for Miami, and put some numbers. I'd say a 7th for Martin. If you can predict what we get for Ahman, go ahead. He signed for $6.5M/year, so that's a big factor. But then he was hurt most of the year. I'd say that we get a 4th and at best a 4th and a 7th.

IMO it should be a 4th, which probably means a 5th or 6th

Ahman was huge money but did nothing
Martin was not too productive but is way above Walker

When are the compensatory picks awarded, anyway?

Money seems to be a big factor. Maybe we get a 5th and 7th. Martin didn't play that well, but he was a starter and he did have 34 catches, so maybe we get a 7th round bone for him. Walker did next to nothing and he only signed for like $1M/year. What did Martin sign for?

I tried looking it up, and ran across this thread. Funny. Where did packnut go?

I'm guessing we get a 5th round pick.

I guessed a 6th rounder.

All I know is every year I feel a bit screwed by the system

Since I'm thinking 5th it will probably be a sixth

The Packers usually seem to get the short end of the stick. Where's the category "No draft pick"?

Honestly I thought I put it in there; if you vote for that one

And Favre retires
and we get no pick

We's a coming after Patler

I actually expect they will get a pick, probably a low one; but nothing ever surprises me anymore in the award of compensatory picks.
