Smith is scheduled to visit the Packers today states Fox Sports.
The 99 trade just goes to show that when a team is enamored by a player that conventional wisdom can be thrown out. It was posted a few weeks back that a 2 or a 3 could be had for 99 and some thought that notion was crazy. This also happens during the draft and that is what makes this so exciting.
If I'm Minny or Chicago, I'm seriously talking to the Browns about Anderson. He is worth a 1 and a 3 and he wants a long term deal that the browns don't want to give.

6'2", 250 lb
27 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles were his numbers last season from the 7 year vet. He started 2 games last season. Seems like a Hunter/KGB type of player.

He will play a little DE but his main value is special teams. With Jenkins and Kampan holding down the DE spots, along with KGB rushing the passer, he won't get a lot of time on D. But he's an experienced back-up who gives 100%. It wouldn't be a HUGE signing obviously. Sounds like this years Frank Walker. Let's just hope he's a little more valuable (if we sign him).

He could easily fill in as an occasional situational pass rusher behind Kampman...so Kampy isn't worn down to nothing by year end in 2008.

Hmm... Nothing to get too excited about. I'm really hopefull for a young, talented DE in this draft.

After trading Williams, TT probably figured he was one "Corey" short on the roster. Otherwise, I don't see that he brings a whole lot to the team.

he is a special teams demon, that is his greatest asset from what I've been hearing.
