Interesting to note many of them came before the salary cap

Before I clicked on the article, first name that popped into my head was Reggie. Gosh, we were lucky.....

Yep. As soon as I saw the thread title I was like "Reggie better be #1 on that list."
4 years 17 million..Corey Williams' new contract just about doubled that..How times have changed

Deion signed a one year contract
How many guys today would bitch and moan if they were franchised?!? This guy is one of the best ever and he voluntarily did it.

How can Hutchinson be on that list? What have the Vikings won since his arrival?

We gave Reggie White 17 million reasons to come to Green Bay.
It is sort of sad, but I actually forget about Reggie from time to time with Brett Favre playing as long as he has, and idolizing him. I simply forget sometimes how much Reggie had to do with the turn around of this franchise.
I miss him.

He didn't volunteer to be franchised. There is a HUGE difference between being able to choose where you play for the salary you want than being told that you will stick with the same team at the salary determined by the league.

Agreed. I was pointing out how different the game is with the big salaries now.

With a couple notable exceptions at the top, that's a very underwhelming list.
