On the OBF website, they are saying Favre will fly to GB and hold a press conference tomorrow at 11 am.

Brett Favre will discuss his retirement from the Green Bay Packers on Thursday.


A press conference is being planned, team officials confirmed this afternoon.

The time, location and other details have not been set.

Favre, 38, was the Packers' quarterback for 16 seasons, starting an NFL-record 253 consecutive games and leading them to a victory in Super Bowl XXXI in January 1997.

With his wife at his side, Brett Favre will discuss his retirement from the Green Bay Packers on Thursday morning.


Brett and Deanna Favre will have a one-hour press conference at 11 a.m. Thursday at the fourth-floor Legends Club at the Lambeau Field Atrium.

No one else is expected to speak at the session, and Brett Favre won't do any one-on-one interviews with reporters, the Packers said late this afternoon.

Hey PIP? Maybe change the title of this thread to say Favre's PC or something? With the bazillion and one Favre threads going on, someone might just assume it's the PC from yesterday and not read it. Just a suggestion :wink:

I'm very thankful Brett is going to speak. I kinda wish the news would have came from him at first vs his agent, but whatever.

I freaken wish I were in GB right now.... I need to see him drive away in his truck one last time. :cry:

I highly doubt it's open to the public, but I'm working in BFE, I mean northern Minnesota until march 21 - so I couldn't go anyhow. Couldn't Favre have waited two more weeks? gawd. 8-)
