Rob Davis has just retired from the Green Bay Packers. Davis will be working with the personel staff of the Packers.

I thought he was on the 1997 SB team. Either way, sad to see another long timer retire. Boy, we should have the youngest team by far now.

He was a great lockerroom guy. It's good that they're keeping him around.

Glad I got a picture of him on game day when I did too. The old folks are gone now. Like a new era.

We get the best of both worlds now. We get the guidance of Rob and the impact of him in the locker room, but we also get a younger guy to bring in.

Thanks for all you've done, Rob. :D

F-you, they're both young enough to be my children. Well, almost, by a year or two.

I'm a wee bit younger than Brett Favre, I am guessing your about my Dad's age then eh?

We will easily be the youngest team in the NFL next year

Sad to see Davis go, but I'm glad he's sticking with the team in some capacity. He was probably more valuable as a leader last year than as a longsnapper. He's still one of my favorite Packers.

I liked the "not to be messed around with" story

We will easily be the youngest team in the NFL next year That bolds well in the coming years because we are a good team and with being so young, we can keep this team intact for a very long time. Going through the draft and getting young guys makes our future brighter for the long haul than getting several older veterans through FA. I like the approach TT has done with this team.

Heck, weren't the Packers already the youngest team in the NFL last season even WITH Favre and Davis?

Don't we have one new old folk - Trent Green?

This is one young team.

I think that when the team shows up for OTA's they will be handing out pacifiers. Mobiles will hang over the players' beds.

I hear that some of them are not quite potty-trained. Oh, wait - that was Najeh Davenport.
