I was trying to find a list of what they are charging for tickets for ALL NFL teams but I couldn't find anything more current than 2006. Anyone know where to find that? $7 seems like a pretty big hike.

Super Bowl champion Giants raise ticket prices by roughly $7

March 21, 2008
CBSSports.com wire reports

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants' season ticket holders are going to pay about $7 more per ticket to watch the Super Bowl champions next season.

The Giants sent letters to ticket holders this week informing them of the roughly 8 percent increase.

Last season, the average price of a ticket was $83.29, which ranked 12th out of the 32 teams in the NFL. Last year's average increase was $4.72.

The new prices will be based on seat location in Giants Stadium.

thats all well and good if they want to charge more because they're the champs

but if they want to play that game then they better drop the price when the team starts to suck, IMO

Think the Pats lowered their prices? They were highest in the league.

I'm a little surprised.

Really thought the Giants would have the top Tix in the league.

Dern right they were gonna raise the seat price this year.

There are a few flaws in that list. First, I would think the average cost of a seat in MN is $5

Seriously though, even looking at the Packers, $54 is not their average ticket price. Tix start at $54 and anything between the 20's is $72.

I think it's interesting with 0% change...the Pats are still the highest...starting at $75.......and those are not good seats. Unlike at Lambeau....where there are next to no bad seats!

It doesnt make sense to up it that much. Yeah they were the Champs but its not like your watching a dynasty or even the best players in the league. Just a team that caught fire at the right time. Plus their revenue has already gone up with them winning it, with endorsements and ads.

Four of the six total games they lost last year were to DAL, NE, and GB. They're hardly a flash in the pan. They were picked as an NFC favorite in August. Suddenly they weren't supposed to be good? They flew under the radar all year because of what DAL and GB were doing and Eli's up and down games, not to mention everyone fixed on the 16-0 Pats, simple as that.
