Anyone know when the 2008 schedule is supposed to be released?

I saw on a rumor site they listed the date as Thur. April 3rd. But the schedule release is not listed on the NFL network programming guide.

Last year they released it on April 11th but that was after they had postponed it a week.

I have read the same thing, April 3. It was on a forum though, nothing official.

Didn't we do the posters game voting before the schedule came out last year?

Yes, I think we did vote before the schedule came out...something like narrowing the month.....and then the opponent. As it turned out, none who attended voted for the Bear game.

April 3. Is it my imagination or is that earlier than it was last year. I still think we should do Arod's first home game...just My $.02

Why? So we can see him play before he gets hurt?

Well, I WAS thinking in case he turns out to be a good QB, but now that you mention it...Do we really wanna wind up watching Craig Nall?

I wouldn't even include the Bears or the Queens as part of the choices. Games for those are pricey.

We go to Green Bay, meet up, party, make some odd attempt at getting up Sunday morning (made easier by the fact that your cell is ringing at some ungodly hour), hang out, tailgate, go to the game, party if we win, commiserate if we lose and then go home. Did I miss anything? Oh. wait. Stadium tours and HOF on Saturday.

I don't know. As long as this time we somehow pick a game that the people who actually attend voted for.

You guys are the ones who will pay $200+ for a ticket, not me ! I'm staying out of the voting because I really don't care. I'll just show up to give stalking tours and drink

The way the voting was conducted last year seemed the fairest way to do it. Maybe the people that voted that game were just unable to go 6 months later.

I am thinking there will be a better response this year. Because it hadn't been done before, I suspect some posters were believe that only several posters would actually show up.

With the testimonials from the ones who were there last year, I think we will have more posters make a commitment about showing up.

I am all for going to the game with the cheapest prices. More money for drinks!!

In any case, I think we should consolidate hotel rooms this year if everyone is comfortable with it and get a bigger party suite versus individual rooms.

That way we can party late but without any of the potential bad outcomes of doing it at someone's house. Definitely don't want to break a really big HDTV or anything like that!!!
