Ty (Wisconsin): GB has 1 first and 2 second round picks. What will they do?

Mel Kiper: They need a CB. If Mike Jenkins is there out of USF, he would look good in a Packer uniform. They also need a TE. Maybe Fred Davis. They also could use a OG. At some point in the 5-7 round area, I think they'll draft a QB. Another underrated QB is Caleb Hanie, Colorado St.

Kiper is sometimes way off the mark, but this seems pretty reasonable--position-wise especially. Probably, Thompson will come up with some unknowns who are as good or better, though.

Terrible name. You can't be a successful QB with a name like that.

I'm starting to buy into Jenkins, much more so than Davis, but I doubt he's in TT's master plan.

A name like Caleb can only bring some sorta Children of the Corn scenario.

Can we please get another DE prospect on the roster?

No kidding. Did we learn nothing from Ingle Martin? The days of Cecil Isbel or Fran Tarkenton being marquee names are long gone.

As for Mel's picks, he's the only one I've seen suggesting Mike Jenkins could fall anywhere near Green Bay.

We need a CB? We need a TE? I'd be willing to bet Ted doesn't think we NEED anything. Someone at those positions would be nice at some point, but nothing would surprise me.

With a name like Caleb Hanie, he better have a gap between his two top front teeth that's a mile wide. and he better show up to mini-camp in a flannel shirt and suspenders.

This team could use a Caleb Hanie.

How can Malcolm Kelly be #1 when he won't work out?!?

Ler's spend a 3rd round pick on this guy;

Punters
1. Mike Dragosavich, North Dakota State

That'd be a slick move, eh?

Caleb Hanie is a bad name for a QB, but how about John David Booty? I think he'd have a tough time in GB with that name also!

Never trust a guy with three names. Much greater chance that he'll turn into a presidential assassin.
