Would you guys do me the great honor of checking out my band -The Rubys - at the following address and supplying a little feedback on the songs?
Sometimes it's really hard to get some honest feedback - and I know that you are all VERY honest when it comes to reacting to my (often harebrained) Packer thoughts.
Thanks!

Hey, thanks, Mad.
I would be most honored to do that - as soon as my son shows up and shows me how to do it!
I'm very grateful that you took the time.

which old bastard are you? I just listened to all the songs you had on the page and I really, really enjoyed all of your music. A lot of soul.

I will purchase a CD if you got one.

I'm old bastard Gerry - guy on the right.
We are ready to go back to the studio to finish the cd. I'd be happy to just send you one when we finish if you are really serious.
It would be my pleasure.

Thanks so much to all of you who took, or are now taking, the time to review the band.
I think, after the Stones, we are in the team photo for most elderly group.
If you are all still game, I will be happy to mail out gratis cds (once we finish)to all who would like one.
It's hard these days to really know what's what with the music, and having
such a group of distinguished ears offer critiques is very helpful.
I appreciate it mucho!

It's good, I like a bluesy kinda sound, but the last tune drifted a bit too far country for me (but I have a low "country" tolerance--sorry LW).

Zig : I wanted to write a song that could have been the cheesy theme song to one of the 1/2 hour westerns I grew up watching in the 50's.
I am not the most commercially viable guy around, I fear!

Well, the flipside to that is that I really liked The Way you Look and Dance with the Devil a lot. A subtle difference I know, but what can I say?

Sounds good, Shadow. American Town reminds me a little of the likes of JD Souther, Jerry Jeff Walker, or Grinderswitch. I like the country influence, myself. Put me on the CD list, if you would. I'll pay for it.
