As his former West Virginia University teammate Pacman Jones tries to get back into the NFL, Bengals receiver Chris Henry might be trying to get out.

According to media reports, Henry has been charged with assault. He allegedly was involved in a fight on Monday, and he faces counts of assault and criminal damaging.

An 18-year-old claims that Henry smashed his car windshield and punched him in the face. Henry says that it wasn’t him.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Henry for eight games in 2007, and reportedly put Henry on a zero-tolerance/last-chance arrangement.

The Bengals are the misfits of the NFL. Chad Johnson wants out (duh), Chris Henry is a punk who can't stay out of trouble, TJ Whosyourmama has said he'd like to be traded, and Carson Palmer is overrated.

Jesus Christ! These guys are the biggest IDIOTS alive. If fame and money won't keep you on the straight and narrow, what will? Let me put it another way, if I came up to you and said "I'll give you 5 million dollars over the next 3 years if you stay out of trouble during that time period," Would you do it? Could you do it? To me, and maybe I'm just boring, but that doesn't sound too hard to me!

I recall him wanting out because of all the BS. I think he knows his coach is overrated too and wants to play on an actually NFL team not some clown circus.

It's too bad being stupid is so subjective, else these "thugs" would be relegated to selling drugs/pimping hoes. Oh wait. Sure Chris Henry already does that.

Will the battle for the most arrests in the 2008 season be won by the favorites, the Cincinnati Bengals, or will perennial heavyweights the Minnesota Vikings re-claim the title?

Well if he really was on a last chance agreement with the commish, it probably don't matter much if it's now or later this summer that he's considered your next Walmart greeter.

It's a damn shame. Kid has all the talent in the world and could have been a stud in time. Now, he deserves whatever he gets. May-be some jail time will turn him around...........

In addition to the Monday altercation (allegedly) that got receiver Chris Henry cuffed by the cops and then cut by the Bengals, there’s another incident that could land Henry and two guys still employed by the team in hot water.

According to WLWT-TV, Henry and running back Chris Perry and defensive tackle Domata Peko were at a club called “BANG” in Cincinnati, where they allegedly caused an early-morning ruckus last Sunday.

The club issued the following statement on Thursday: “On March 30 around 1 a.m., there were incidents involving members of the Cincinnati Bengals Football team at BANG Nightclub. Chris Henry, Chris Perry and Domata Peko were escorted out by police at the close of the club. Charges have not been filed, pending the settlement of punitive damages.”

A league source tells us that the players have refused to pay anything to “BANG,” and that charges will indeed be pursued.

That said, we’re troubled by the appearance that the folks at “BANG” apparently tried to squeeze some money out of Henry and company by holding over their heads the possibility of filing charges. It’s not much different than what those guys in Little Rock tried to pull several weeks ago with Darren McFadden. The far better approach for the victim of an alleged crime is to get the cops involved before trying to squeeze any money out of the alleged perps.

Regardless, Perry and Peko could be the next members of the team that wears tiger stripes to be sporting prison stripes in due time.

He's real good, but limited. He won't run no slants, no sluggo's, no inside curls. He drops most balls over the middle. But on the wide flank, he's a bitch. Runs a great 9. No slot corner can cover him deep.

He'll catch on someplace. Shit, he's captain material on the Raiders.

Perry and Peko are pretty good kids. Peko don't say a word, for instance. Big Samoan kid. This club could be putting on a money squeeze. Sounds like some other deals I've heard about where the bar people see $.

This bar could be putting on the squeeze.

He ain't the only WR who won't go over the middle! Gotta have some deep respect for a guy like Driver who look's forward to it.

I thought Henry was on his last chance with Goodell, which means that if this turns out to be true, He's done for good

He just did an 8 game suspension in '07.

He will probably get a year.

There have been some questions about suspending players that aren't on a team. Which Henry ain't right now.
