There can be debate on who is "America's team".

But Titletown is a coined name for Green Bay.

It really got a big start in '61, when Green Bay hosted their first NFL Championship game against the Giants. The Packers had the most NFL Championships even then. I never really heard who thought of the phrase, but we have dibs on it and the most titles to boot.

i saw that Titletown thing. i can't believe someone in Green Bay didn't have that word/title copywrited. there's only one Titletown.

actually, maybe the city of GB could adopt "world wide leader in sports" as their official motto, plaster it everywhere. what fun to see the dueling lawsuits! i'm sure it would end w/ old status quo.
