woodbuck27:

We get ** eight ** new prospects overall, and six (6) of the top 135 draft eligible players.

** Likely more :D

We need TT to perform an outstanding job with this draft on day one. 2008 is the beginning of a new Packer Era.

I've been reading that the NFL Draft is way over rated. I disagree with any such claim. The DRAFT.

It's OUR lifeblood - OUR FUTURE.

PACKERS FOREVER.

This has to go down as one of the greatest wastes of space ever.

NO! I'll try to help you keep up or with it, Bigguns.

It's a draft and last time I checked there are all 32 teams involved. So there is a specified draft order on a round by round basis that depends on an assortment of criteria.

ie trades, compensatory picks

Maybe not you Bigguns, but some of the more in tune Packer or NFL fans may indeed desire to see the flow of the draft to determine a guess as to what players may be picked by teams with specific needs and so make a determination on TT's movement in the draft as it evolves.

Keeping up Bigguns?

GREAT! :D

Now as I'm an accomodating person maybe you just want a link. It's there.

PACKERS FOREVER!

Don't you think simply listing the picks and their corresponding # would be enough?

You think people are going to use your list when they can actually follow the draft on TV or view it on multiple sites live on the web?

Give it up old man.

6 picks in the top 135 is cool. Hopefully 3 out of 6 can become solid contributors, and perhaps one a star player.

READ-READ-READ Tyrone, maybe, with an open mind not with that festering stupid attitude you must feel adds character to your obvious ignorance.

or piss off! or go back to your crack pipe, PLEASE. :D

Thanks Tyrone.

I knew you'd keep it positive because your just that sort of (well almost)

GUY.

I'm merely trying to make some contribution here that some will find of value or favor in. You know maybe other's if not yourself?

When I follow the draft I'm not merely interested in OUR pick, rather I try to place myself in the seat of those in our Draft Room. I doubt that those Lad's are asleep at the wheel, or not watching what the other teams are doing. That starts with an initial draft order. Of course that will change as the dynamics evolve.

There's a plethora of material available to us fans Tyrone, ie regarding team needs. Based on a teams previous movement OUR Packer draft team will make anticipatory moves, ie trade up or down.

Having such information on OUR forum only acts to assist us towords understanding the draft process better, and what OUR draft team actually does.

OK Tyrone?

PACKERS FOREVER!

And, what have you provided that can't be found on a thousand other sites.

But, my senile friend, the proof is in the pudding.

NOT ONE POSTER HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THIS THREAD (save for sheepshead).

The free market has spoken, and found your product lacking.

Wait, so you're sure Ted won't trade down out of the top 135 at any point? I could see them trading that early fourth round pick for an early 5th and 6th or something.

Indeed. First thing tomorrow it's going right on the fridge, next to the macaroni snowman.

Oh sure. Make Woody edit the post in the middle of the draft. Couldn't just leave it be, could you?

That's exactly the deal.

Tyrone:

It's just like the preliminary blueprint of an addition to a city. As time pass's the plans change. We will respond.

Coolly or in a panic? ie

First Guy: Geee! Look over there! There's a crack house. Call 911.

Second Guy: Nawww, let's just do some surveillance. They may skip town today. Till then let's all go to the Dairy Queen. Great special on this month.

The Ole Jive and Roll. Getting it Tyrone? :?:

If your directing that to me Lurker64?

Sure! Green Bay (TT) could at some point bet. now and Draft Sunday, add picks all over the above chart. Same as any team.

That's just the Draft chart as I saw it at the time I posted. It's merely there to allow us to see where we stand ( today ). Who drafts before and behind us as a strategy tool.

PACKERS FOREVER!
