The Packers announced they had cut reserve guard Tony Palmer. He had injured a bone in his neck in the Packers win over the Giants in Game 2 of last season.

It will be interesting to see if the Packers draft a guard to help fill his absence.

Packers released OLs Chris Patrick and Cliff Washburn.
Patrick was on the practice squad last season before suffering an injury and going on I.R. Washburn was signed to a futures deal in January.

I think we can expect a few Olinemen

Yeah, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we take 3-4 OL in the first five rounds.

Still got Spitz, Colledge, Coston, and Barbre.

Obviously some of those guys could move to tackle, and none of them are sure things yet, but we don't necessarily NEED one.

I think OT is more likely to get addressed, but who knows?

I hope his neck's okay, but he wasn't very good so I'm not concerned about his absence..

That was my first thought when I saw this. Seems unlike TT to tip his hand, though. I'm guessing he takes one OL early and another late. Maybe the noise about Sam Baker is true.
