Astrology in Ted's 08 Draft

As part of Ted's assessment of players does he consult astrological tables or does he favor drafting players with certain astrological sun signs??

Jordy Nelson- Gemini Air Sign. Smart and Fast.

Brian Brohm- Libra Air Sign. Smart, Likeable balanced.

Patrick Lee- Aquarius Air Sign. Disciplined emotionally. Some smarts

Jermichael Finley - Aries Odd Fire sign. Fire signs like Air signs

Jeremy Thompson - Libra Air Sign Prone to low back injury

Josh Sitton - Gemini Air Sign

Breno Giacomini - Libra Air Sign

Matt Flynn - Gemini Air Sign Gemini's tend to be prone to arm injury

Brett Swain - Gemini Air Sign

Astrologicly you can see the significance of this draft and how it fits with team building. Air Signs are team players not selfish and rather intelligent.

Now does Ted like these players because they have similar characteristics or is astrology just another tool and piece of information in drafting??

Justin Harrell is an Aquarius which is an Air Sign.
Brandon Jackson is a Libra, another Air Sign.
James Jones is an Aries, which is a Fire Sign.
Aaron Rouse is a Capricorn which is an Earth Sign.
Allen Barbre is a Gemini, which is an Air Sign.
David Clowney is a Cancer, which is a Water Sign.
Korey Hall and Desmond Bishop are both Leos, which is a Fire Sign.
Mason Crosby is a Virgo, an Earth Sign.
DeShawn Wynn is a Libra, Air Sign.
Clark Harris is a Cancer, another Water Sign.

Interestingly the only two players we drafted in 2007 to not make the team were Water Signs, Cancers in particular. We drafted no Water Signs or Cancers this year, is Thompson learning from his mistakes?

That's all of Ted's drafts, or at least I'm not going to go and look at the Seattle ones.

So it looks like Ted has bad luck with Water Signs. Of the ones he's drafted only Jolly has shown he's a good player, though there's hope for Blackmon and Culver. The rest have done nothing, particularly the Cancers. Culver is probably being held back by his astrological sign.

You should always keep cancers off the team. They will ruin things.
