Noticed this report from Friday. Please forgive me if this is too old. I know the new Forum criteria is "Instant Headline News"...

Quarterback numbers
McCarthy said he thought rookie quarterbacks Brian Brohm and Matt Flynn had no trouble handling the workload during the three practices. They were the only quarterbacks in camp.

Projected starter Aaron Rodgers is the other quarterback on the roster.

Teams typically bring at least four quarterbacks to training camp in order to break up the workload, but McCarthy wasn't sure whether another quarterback would be signed.

"It really depends on the (roster size)," McCarthy said. "Is it going to be an 80-man or 86?"

League owners are expected to vote later this month on a proposal to expand training camp rosters from 80 to 86 players. Last year, the Packers had 91 players in training camp because of roster exemptions for NFL Europa. But that league is out of business, and the exemptions disappeared with it.

(No shit Dept.) Indications are the Packers won't sign free-agent quarterback Daunte Culpepper, who visited last month.

With all the WR's, 4 QB's would make camp smoother and give ARod a break on the early camp workload.

You'd think after blowing up NFL Europe, they'd let teams bring in 86 - 90 guys.
