Investing in alternative ways like solar is what this country needs to do for providing energy.

I'm seriously thinking about buying a car that runs on diesel and buy one of these things that make biodiesel. If I can make biodiesel for less than $1 I will recoup my investment in 6-9 months.

Just a note, check the laws where you live. A guy in california was doing that and even making enough for 2-3 friends I believe and the state cracked down on him for breaking several environmental codes. Things like tranporting without a license.

Irony if you think about it, the state pushing people to be greener cracking down on an individual who took great steps to be greener.
