Firefox3 RC3 is available for download. Been using it most of the day. Updated buttons is the only thing I've noticed so far. That and some of my plugins dont work with it.

This was the "spread the fox" day (or something like that) where they tried to set a record for most downloads in a day.

Besides the obvious differences one thing I've noticed is that it finally displays "Alt-text" all at once instead of on one line with an ellipsis.

It is far faster. Evidently the javascript support is supposed to get much better with this and safari?

it does seem a lot faster to me

It is faster, definitely.

The home, refresh, and stop buttons are smaller so that may annoy some wackos that are annoyed by things like that (me).

The design makes things a bit more crisp and minimalistic.

It's worth the download (takes about 3-4 minutes on a good broadband connection).

Coolio. PR is definitely faster.

I've noticed it's def faster, but I don't like all the history in the drop down list. I don't need to see every site I've visited on yahoo or whatever...just show me yahoo.com thank you.

I noticed that it's fucking busted on my machine. Now no version of Firefox works. They all crash.

Guess I'll be using SeaMonkey until someone figures something out.

You should get a Mac since you suck balls at computing.

Because Macs are for people that don't know what the hell they're buying and doing it to follow the trend?

No, because OS X is a million times more intuitive and easier to use. I could go on, but any number of google searches will be sufficient. I dual-boot my system on identical hardware and OS X while a ram whore is significantly faster and a much more pleasant experience to use.

I D/Ld FF3 on that day but still haven't in stalled it. I'm waiting for one theme (Packers) and 3-4 extensions to be updated to V3 before I switch
