Ted Is Trapped in the Closet, Chap. 11 :)

You’re the beauty, the beauty I desire
Let’s watch Troy burn over Greece’s fire
And when everything has turned to dust
Together we can learn to trust
Just the two of us remains
True love can then began

Said Mac, “I don’t know where everybody is”
Said Ted, “Hush, Mac, just give me a kiss”
“Donâ⠂¬â„¢t worry about everyone, Mac, I attempt for us to fall”
“Winning, Mac, winning doesn’t matter to me at all”

Said Mac, “This profession has brought us together”
“Itââ €šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s as if, Ted, as if we were meant for one another”
“Youâ⠂¬â„¢re a beautiful creature, Ted”
“Like a polar bear, like roses are red”
“Ted, you’re the only thing that’s real”
“Everything else is nothing, unreal”

Go to the practice field for the OTA
Insert Mac and his adulterous friend, Jag
Said Mac, “Where the hell is Harris!”
Said Jag, “I wouldn’t know if he’s in Paris”
“Iââ⠀šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢m just an offensive coordinator, Mac”
“I only worry about avoiding sacks”

“So, Mac, how did the confession with Ted go?”
Did you tell him our love is far more than so and so”
Sorry, Jag, it’ll have to wait another day”
I’m so smitten by what Ted has to say”
Why must Cupid strikes us all?”
In love with each other, we fall

I just want to smoke her weed
But I’m that hunger which she feeds
We’ll do it over and over again, sigh
Doesn’t matter so long as I’m high

(Note: these lyrics are inspired by Snow Patrol’s recent released album, Eyes Open, which is a splendid work of art)

C'mon, people!, I am a inspiring lyricist. Your criticisms will make me better.

I am a inspiring lyricist.

And modest too, I might add.

How many times can you write about the same thing? Maybe you need a new topic. Why don't you write poetry about the economic value and benefit of tax cuts, and the wonderful foresight of the great man who gave them to us?

Yeah, I think i can probably write something about the economy. Problem is when i write poem/lyrics and things like that, that is to get away from those stuff.

I like it! If it was about your disappointment in TT and M3 and not about them being gay you could post it in the Packers room.

yeah Tank, it actually was pretty good except let's try to refrain from the sexuality comments. After all, you are an extreme liberal and a persons sexuality shouldn't matter to you at all!!

Based on your work above - I'd have to correct you Tank - you're an "aspiring" lyricist.

Not very inspiring at all, really IMHO.

Thanks for the correction, Captain. Was a bit dozed last night and didnt notice it.

Now that you mentioned it, however, i will indeed try to become a "inspiring" lyricist. See, when i go home and hang out with the boyhood friends, we like to play instruments in my parents basement. Thought of starting a band but none of them are motivated. Problem is, we are usually too stoned to try to learn to play good music. Not sure if we're any good; never played live before an audience.

Maybe if I write some good lyrics, it will "inspire" them to take music seriously. I would like to call us "The Dopes" (the conservative Lamboo at JSO suggested it), and play Coldplay-ish music.

Hey, I think i can dream of sucess, too.

Uh, im kidding myself. We suck.
