Brett Favre will have to speak a little more after all. The quarterback will be awarded the Packers' MVP award at tonight's Packers Hall of Fame banquet in the Lambeau Field Atrium.
It is expected that Favre will address the crowd, though it's unlikely he'll have too much to say about his recent spat with the team's management.
The only other award given to a player will be kicker Mason Crosby who will be named rookie of the year. Those awards will precede the inductions of Al Treml, Gilbert Brown and Frank Winters.
Most former players avoided commenting on the situation while mingling with fans during the pre-banquet cocktail hour. Former guard Marco Rivera was one of the only ones with a response, saying he could understand both sides' positions.
