Jets signed former Packers first-round cornerback bust Ahmad Carroll.

The Jags released Carroll last spring following an arrest for gun and drug charges, and he resurfaced this spring with the Arena League's Orlando Predators. Needless to say, he's a longshot to make the team. The team released safety Nate Lyles to make room.

IIRC his immaturity coupled with his inability to learn how to play "man" was ultimately his downfall.

If he has levelled his head and starts to do what his coaches teach him to do his athletic ability might get him onto the final roster.

A lot of "ifs" "buts" and "maybes" in this, though.
